We put the 1245 Box together in Haarlem itself. Inside you'll find products from Max's mits, De Haarlemse Bakker, Mamas Chai, De Cronjé. The businesses we work with produce in small batches, so what goes in shifts a little from season to season. If something runs out, it is replaced by something from the same city.
The 1245 Box is named after the year Count William II of Holland granted Haarlem its city rights: 23 November 1245, some sixty years before Amsterdam. The people of Haarlem borrowed their rules from Den Bosch, gained toll exemption throughout Holland and built the town's first ramparts. This box celebrates that beginning: compact, complete and unmistakably from Haarlem.
Every box holds a card naming who made what. Want your own message on that card, or your logo on the closing sticker that seals the box? Tick it when you order: from 30 boxes at € 1,50 per box per option (excl. VAT), free from 200 boxes per order with the same card or sticker. We deliver to the office, or straight to your colleagues' homes.
